Introduced in 2010, GP3 is a new series designed as a feeder championship for GP2. GP3 supports European F1 and GP2 events, allowing drivers to excel in front of the F1 community.

The GP3 car features a 2 litre 280 bhp turbo powered Renault engine and a six speed paddle shift sequential gearbox.

A competitive and cost effective championship, GP3 offers drivers a perfect stepping stone to Formula Renault 3.5, GP2 and F1. Carlin enters its second season of GP3 in 2011, as one of just ten teams selected to compete in this important feeder category.
