Fat Boy Slim joins Forces with Chris Covers
15 May 2004Almost a year ago today, we ran the story of Fat Boy Slim's (F3 Truckie & fitness fanatic) horrendous tale at the Knockhill F3 event when the Carlin awning was lifted by high Scottish winds in the paddock area and destroyed.
Slim is determined that this won't happen again this year and has called in the services of legendary awning specialist Chris "Covers" Pearce.
Chris Covers, well known within the industry for his prompt timekeeping, has extensively modified the Carlin awnings with reinforcing stays and has guaranteed Slim that "it will take a force 10 gale to shift this lot - and you have my word on it."
