Rodin Motorsport is pleased to confirm that Peter Bouzinelos will join, and complete, their SpanishF4 team for the upcoming season which starts in earnest this weekend in Jarama.
Australian racer Bouzinelos made his single seater debut last year, competing in the Formula Four South East Asia Championship and Australian Formula Open Series. Despite his rookie status, he showed immense promise was in both championships taking a win at the Queensland Raceway in the AFO4class – and a 3rd place feature race finish and fastest lap in the F4 SEA Championship.
Bouzinelos joins already confirmed drivers Thomas Strauven and Preston Lambert for the 2024season, which gets underway this weekend in Jarama, Spain. The seven-round championship will see Bouzinelos take on a bumper-field of drivers as they race on incredible F1 Grade tracks including Barcelona and Paul Ricard to name a few.
Bouzinelos said of joining the team, “I’m really pleased to be joining Rodin Motorsport for the2024 Spanish F4 Championship. I’ve already tested with the team and we’ve certainly started to work really well together – I’m sure we can have a great season working together. I’m looking forward to getting out on track in Jarama this week.”
Paul Wallace, SpanishF4 Team Manager, added, “Peter is a great addition to the team and I’m pleased to welcome him alongside Thomas and Preston. He has shown a lot of talent in his first year of car racing, and I am certain we can help him to develop this further. Testing has been productive so far for Peter and I think we’ll have solid season of racing action together.”
