World Series by Renault is a new type of motorsport meeting, bringing together top class motoring including World Series FR3.5, Eurocup FR 2.0 and the Eurocup Megane Trophy all in a family friendly environment.

Launched in 2005, the Formula Renault 3.5 car is a logical step up from Formula 3 and GP3. With a 425 bhp engine, 3.5 litre V6 engine, a high level of downforce, carbon brakes and left foot braking, the FR 3.5 race cars are designed to help prepare drivers for a career in F1.

The 2011 season will see 24 drivers race at nine venues around Europe, including Monaco, where the series will form the support race for the F1 Monaco Grand Prix.

Carlin's drivers for the 2011 season are 2010 British F3 champion Jean-Eric Vergne and Robert Wickens.
