Rodin Motorsport can today confirm that F1 Academy race winner Jessica Edgar remains with the team for a second season in the championship. Edgar finished her 2023 season on a high taking her maiden F1 Academy race win at the Circuit of the Americas and has since been working with the team during winter preparations.

Over the course of her debut season in the F1 Academy, the 18-year-oldBritish racer took a total of four podiums with her incredible form culminating in victory at the final round in Austin. Edgar’s career in single seaters started in 2022 with an impressive season in the GB4 Championship following a strong showing in junior karting where she finished fourth in the British Kart Championship.

Edgar joins previously announced Abbi Pulling and Lola Lovinfosse as part of the Rodin Motorsport roster.

Edgar said, “I am really excited to be working with Rodin Motorsport once again this year. We had a good 2023, constantly improving each time we went out in the car, and I hope we can do the same.

“I would like to say a big thank you to Rodin Motorsport for the opportunity to return to the F1 Academy grid and keep building on what I learned last year.”

Benn Huntingford, Team Manager added, “Jess showed brilliant potential in F1 Academy with us last year, and we are really excited to work with her again this season. We ended the 2023 season on a high in Austin, so it will be really exciting to see how Jess develops further with us this season.”
